Once again I’m sitting here reflecting on how truly blessed I am.  I have the best job in the whole wide world.  Randi (the most amazing business partner and friend) and myself were off shooting another wedding this weekend.  This wedding found us in Boise, Idaho at the Union Pacific Railroad Depot.  It has been beautifully restored and is the perfect setting for a wedding.  The weather was amazing…….we couldn’t have asked for more.  I have a little sneak peek for you, but if you really want to check out all the pictures and fun you’ll have to head over to our Wedding Site.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot some mini sessions in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Here is one I did with a beautiful couple from San Francisco.  They were attending the wedding of Ricky’s little sister.  They are so beautiful, if you didn’t know better you would think they were the bride and groom.

Thank you Mr. and Mrs. H!  I had lots of fun…..and can’t wait to see you again.

I can’t even tell you how excited I was about my senior shoot yesterday…..I got to shoot Linda Bastian’s boy…I mean Linda Barney’s boy…JARON!! You would think it was somebody famous, well truthfully it just might be somebody famous, Jaron is oh-so talented, and definitely headed for greatness!! But, I was excited because I got to see Linda, I can’t think of my childhood and not think of her, she was part of it on a daily basis….and my memories are amazing. Now let’s meet her son, drum roll please………………………………..

after we had done pictures they sang for me…..talk about heart melt moment.  They both have the most beautiful voices and they blended together only like a mother and son’s voice could….It was beautiful.  I knew that Linda had a gorgeous voice I can still remember when she sang the song “What I did for Love” from  A Chorus Line for our ninth grade graduation.  Jaron will be attending Weber State this fall on a four year vocal scholarship…….I’m telling you this boy can sing!!  (Linda I just had a funny flash back moment….remember when the two of us were asked to sing for stake conference and we got up there to do it and your eye wouldn’t stop twitching and we ended up laughing our way through the song….our mothers were so disappointed…LOL).

Thank you Jaron and Linda for letting me spend time with you yesterday and capture your beautiful spirits.  Linda what an amazing, likeable young man you have raised……It is evident that you are truly a beautiful mother.  Jaron you are going to go far….and I can’t wait for the day I’m in New York watching a broadway show and I can say….”I rember when I shot his senior pictures”.
